Family Sports:
We encouraged all the kids to go out for Fall sports this year and it has been a good experience.

Most of the middle school boys play soccer.  David has great coaches and is improving rapidly.  Yes, the playing field is gravel and no, it doesn't make the kids play more carefully: lots of road rash!

Christopher plays half the game as goalie then plays some forward in the second half.  He is not the tallest kid on his team -- though sometimes it looks like it when they are playing.

The soccer field is gravel but the gym is awesome!  Emily has great coaches, the practices are long and intense, and she is improving rapidly.

Other members of our family are sportsmen as well.  Here we see "Panda" fishing for gold fish:

And the kids fishing for Ryu (Dragon) with his favorite toy: feathers on a string.

More on how we surprisingly became adoptive parents of two kittens later.
And finally: Brian practicing his couch radish technique:

Bette is currently restricting her sports interest to sorting recycling materials and hunting and gathering wild game (er groceries) on her bicycle.
